Mint Bridging has
assigned two dedicated teams to cover bridging and development lending.
The new development team — which is overseen
by Peter Howarth, credit risk manager — is staffed by development underwriters
and supported by an expanded portfolio management team.
Mint’s
bridging team aims to provide a professional service for those in demand of a
fast, traditional bridge.
The
short-term lender is set to announce a “radical” new product offering in the
coming days.
Andrew Lazare, managing director at Mint
(pictured above), said: “Many lenders mix together development and traditional
bridging into one team, but we felt that it would be better to provide a
structure which allowed each of our staff to concentrate on one, rather than
both of these areas of lending, given that they are so very different.
“We
are very excited about being able to provide a bespoke service.”
Mint
recently updated its sales and underwriting processes after
undertaking a review of its operations.
