North West Refurbishment Loan - Case Study: £209,000 (12 months)


CHALLENGE

  • The property comprises of a four bedroom semi-detached house which was built in the very early 1900’s
  • The building had a tired and dated appearance, with full refurbishment and upgrading works required
  • It featured a good sized family home with rear garden and off road parking, with excellent demand for owner occupiers
  • A refurbishment loan was provided for the purchase and refurbishment of the property

APPROACH

  • The borrowers were experienced developers who had previously sourced properties for conversion to HMOs, initially for clients, then also for themselves
  • Our experienced asset manager was continuously on hand to offer critical advice and add value from the outset

RESULT

  • The refurbishment was completed to the agreed schedule and to an extremely high standard
  • Further new loan facilities have been completed with this borrower and Mint Bridging, ultimately forming a great business relationship
