Mint Bridging appoints ex-NatWest director

Mint Bridging has hired Peter Howarth (pictured below) as its new credit manager.

Peter has joined the North West-based bridging lender from NatWest, where he spent 35 years in the UK real estate division handling a portfolio of clients and serving in the role of relationship director.
At Mint, Peter will be responsible for client and transaction management risk.
Peter said he was pleased to be taking on this newly created role at Mint.
“My experience to identify issues early and to mitigate risks to loans by challenging assumptions is where my real skills lie.
“Mint was brave enough to see that the volumes of loans currently – and forecasted to go through this year – required a dedicated person to ensure the smoothness of the transactions.”
Peter will report to Andrew Lazare, founder and managing director at Mint Bridging, who was delighted with the appointment.
“His expertise in this role will be a huge benefit to the growth plans for Mint Bridging,” added Andrew.
“We are having our busiest quarter and Peter’s input will be part of our success and enable our loans to process smoother and faster.”
