Job Opportunities: BDM's & Underwriters Needed

We're expanding rapidly and looking to recruit three BDM's and two experienced underwriters. Below is the BDM job description and here's the link to the underwriting job description. 

Business Development Manager (BDM) “Short Term Lending”

• Overseeing your own region and close broker contacts to grow loans completed
• Understand the company's goal and purpose to continually enhance Mint Bridging’s performance

• Proactively seek new business opportunities with new brokers and intermediaries, by means of networking and referrals
• Build relationships with key clients and professional sector contacts, to generate referrals
• Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area, to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
• Present new products and services to clients while enhancing existing relationships
• Representing Mint Bridging at trade shows, industry functions and relevant corporate events
• Work with the team to develop flexible proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns and objectives
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators
• Assess each case against Mint Bridging lending criteria and work the deal through to successful completion
• Provide weekly activity reports
• Work with the marketing team to ensure that prerequisites are fulfilled within a timely manner, and you’re promoting the Mint Bridging brand accurately

The Business Development Manager will need to have a flexible approach to working hours and be required to demonstrate the following credentials:

• Sales and lending experience in a financial services environment. This would ideally be within bridging finance, or alternative finance/products sold into property brokers/intermediaries. Banking or alternative finance provider experience will be considered
• Strong proven sales expertise from outside the industry are encouraged to apply
• Demonstrable performance in a target driven sales environment, with targets and achievements outlined on CV
• Highly skilled communicator with excellent presentation skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
